You are experiencing a form of mid-life crisis. I am 46 and see a fair number of our age group in similar circumstances. Status symbol sports car - irresistible urge to pursue sports sex with attractive young women - renewed focus on physical appearance and trying to make 40 the new 20 - the rather capricious rationale for the dissolution of a long term relationship/marriage.

Introspect at length concerning your motivations, and do your utmost to prognosticate on the potential outcomes of your actions. Sometimes we have a laser focus, but it turns out to be the wrong target. Being the BMOC again (if you will) may feel like it is filling a void now, but leave a yawning chasm when all is said and done. At which point, the futile pursuit to fill it ends up consuming you. Long term personal happiness is seldom the result of superficial pursuits. Particularly when they hurt the people we care about.

I guess not... is this the same frosting that is on devil's food cake?? I guess I must be a taste-retard. I always thought my taster was high quality 🙁 I might need to upgrade to the M3 model 😉

I just figured most people have had carrot cake, as it is a superior form of cake.
