I know, right. What kind of a moron thinks it's reasonable to handcuff a child for bring a clock to school?
Well, it seems those pics generated the more emotional responses, though, I DO agree with you.

Your nose is growing. They arrested him over a clock. The "hoax bomb" excuse is exactly the overreaction I'm talking about. They never arrested him over a bomb. They arrested him over a hoax bomb. They are two key distinctions that are lost on people without at least 3 neurons, which you so obviously lack even that.
Your opinion about racist intent is self-serving speculation. You don't know to what extent race played a role, and neither do I. The difference between us is that I never asserted there was racist intent. I said from the beginning I didn't know. I stuck to facts; you immediately ran with the party line. There was no racist intent, there was the law, and zero-tolerance policies. Thats it.
You're lying again, Pinocchio. It's a textbook example of projection. Shall we go back to the first thread and cite all the examples? That SJW fuckwits like yourself made this into a story and your unabashed lying about what actually happened,
STILL, is testament that you lack any moral scruples. Just like he and his parents.
Since you love him so much, just go join him in Qatar.
Agreed. That photo was a potent PR tool, and the family used it well.Well, it seems those pics generated the more emotional responses, though, I DO agree with you.
My opinion is that this lawsuit was planned all along from before the kid even took his "invention" to the school. It was their plan to have him get arrested and then sue for big bucks. In retrospect, it really is obvious. This kid's family are not good people.
Not making any excuses for the kid and his family, but I really do think they got put up to it by blood sucking lawyers and others with agendas that have nothing to do with seeking justice and fair recompense for the agrieved.
It's like if it happened to an African American family, guys like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would have jumped in to pursue their own personal agendas just as they have in the past.
well, I admire the little kid's spunk.
If you went back and read anything I wrote about this subject, you'd know that very early on I was blaming zero-tolerance. Why? Because it creates reactions like this. I saw it personally with a friend of mine in HS. Gun in the car, no ammo, no intent, nothing. Expulsion of a good kid.Your nose is growing. They arrested him over a clock. It was obvious this was a setup. Why? Because they knew the response and they knew what they could claim, immediately.Your opinion about racist intent is self-serving speculation. There are two issues with that take. First, was the policy zero tolerance of clocks? If not, there was still (poor) human judgment involved. Someone made a choice to call this clock a hoax bomb instead of a clock. Several someones there supported that poor judgment, and the ensuing overreaction. Now, they're paying the piper with taxpayer dollars. If you went back and read anything I wrote about this subject, you'd know that very early on I was blaming zero-tolerance.
That's truly unfortunate, but it's an apples to oranges comparison. In your friend's case, it was real gun. In this case, it was not a real bomb, or even a real hoax bomb. It was a clock. Why? Because it creates reactions like this. I saw it personally with a friend of mine in HS. Gun in the car, no ammo, no intent, nothing. Expulsion of a good kid.
You are welcome to your opinions. They do not merit the same consideration as actual fact, however.I do believe that this was 100% the intent of the father. They tried to get a response from the school the prior time with the sister but failed. The response was normal for the times. Any kid would have gotten it.
It was obvious this was a setup. Why? Because they knew the response and they knew what they could claim, immediately.
You don't work for Subway, do you? :hmm:

I'm sure your idiot friend got what he deserved, what kind of fucking tool leaves a gun in the car?
See, maybe you can pick out out the difference between someone with a device designed to kill someone with a sloppily but together clock. Or not, you seem to have reasoning problems.
Why? Looking for move up from your present job?
Well you missed the thread he posted about his friend whome he condemned in the same manner as this kid! If you would have seen that thread you would have seen just how incredibly consistent he is and why he took the position against the kid.

There is one common issue here, zero tolerance. I abhor that policy.
Without it this kid wouldn't have been able to race bait the school.

Because a rifle left in a vehicle from a weekend's hunting trip or whatever is totally comparable to bringing a bomb-esque device into several classrooms when your family has a history of making bomb threats.
