Just a quick note to update that I haven't been feeling great for awhile. My current dignosis is a pretty angry knot of lymph nodes in my neck. Adeniocarcinoma of unknown primary.

I am being treated at MGH, went there last week for PET and CT scan for staging and hopes of finding my primary tumor site.

If you don't smoke don't start, if you do smoke, quit and keep quitting till you stop.

Please know you are in my prayers. Drop me a line sometime?

And tell that mean old stinky husband of yours to cheer up!

I can tell you that having a CT with contrast was one of the oddest experiences I have ever had. The PET scan was actually rather cool, loved the card they gave me to give law enforcement about being temporarily radioactive.

I will say this, MGH takes care of business, nice people working there.

Keep a positive outlook!

If you haven't already, start pushing dark and bright fruits and vegetables for their antioxidant benefits.

I survived kidney cancer. almost 6 years now. If they catch it early it is treatable.

Sorry to hear that. Best of luck to you.

Mass General is one of the most respected medical institutions in the US, so you should be in good hands.

Best of luck. I had a benign tumor at the base of my tongue late last year. I finally had it removed the first of this year, but am on a myriad of pain killers. It's not pleasant but you will get through it. One day at a time.

I hope everything goes well for you! Best wishes to you and your family!

 How big is the card? If it is credit card sized I would 'accidentally' grab that instead of my credit card to hand to people

I got myself booted up to MGH so fast! Being treated by Dr John Clark, a nice man who runs the head and neck division.
