Yeah being septic,means being admitted, IV antibiotics, port removal and praying they caught it early enough that organs don’t fail or you die.

Very glad I called the patient emergency line yesterday and was seen today, very glad.
 
Still out of work, they held treatment today, no funky new growths noted in my lungs per X Ray. Blood cultures came back good. I feel somewhat better but weak & very tired. My nose & sinuses are clear. Appetite is still way off but improving. Treatment team wants me eating, drinking normally before sending me back to work. Gave Doctor FMLA papers today, I am out of sick time so will have to pay insurance premiums out of pocket till I get better. Husband caught the same crap, hustled himself to the doctor.

High point of the day? I got to shower and was steady on my feet. I also had some ice cream 🙂

Good to hear about your lungs. Keep celebrating the little things like showers and ice cream.
