Given what has been seen and with all the other investigations ongoing by other states; the Feds should cease any funding until a full audit is completed

Uh ohh.. 3rd tape released. Some of you called that one. I'm kind of expecting a sting video of these two and Obama coming out saying "Yep, I'm a socialist." - I'm going to call that just in case it happens.. ;)

Another day, another ACORN corruption video

NY Post Article

This third video is from the ACORN office in NYC.

Where are all the liberals at now that were trying to justify this as "one isolated incident" and/or "a stupid conspiracy by right-wingers such as Fox"?

I wonder what will be next...another video similar to these, or another case of ACORN being busted for voter fraud? :disgust:

Edit: Darn, Fear No Evil beat me to it. :p

This couple has been doing a national tour of ACORN offices and getting their advice on setting up a child prostitution business to support a future political campaign.

Hmmm, if I wonder if you can get some money laundering advice for a murder for hire business from these helpful folk?

Appears Acorn's complicated network of management is working against them. They can't seem to get the faxes out to the offices to STFU if someone asks about prostitution advice.

My guess is they completed all of their filming before releasing the first video

I'm confused. Did they go to the NY office this weekend? Or was this already taped? And bring on a FULL CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATION and prosecution, NOW.

From biggovernment.com

"ACORN Video: Prostitution Scandal in New York, NY
by James O'Keefe

'This recent scam, which was attempted in San Diego, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia to name a few places, had failed for months before the results we?ve all recently seen.'
-Bertha Lewis, Chief Organizer, ACORN

So, we headed up to New York?"

Why would they need such a thing when the federal government and president is giving them billions of dollars to do it's bidding?

Maybe this will spur the government to look at all the companies they do business with. I want to see someone do the same with Triple Canopy, Xe(Blackwater) and KBR.

show me that and I will rail against them as well.
The RNC? DNC? Any number of large financial institutions? Much of the insurance industry? Many government contractors?

Sometimes it's due to a corrupt organization. Sometimes it's just a few rogue employees/party members who are acting on their own. The wing-nuts love to demonize ACORN because it gives them an easy bogeyman to rile up the faithful and sell their books & shows. Nonetheless, it's apparent ACORN is poorly managed. They need to do a major housecleaning.

(And just for the record, it is largely the wing-nuts who are flinging these accusations left and right. They are usually empty accusations. It's the constant crying wolf that makes them so easy to brush off.)

That's my impression as well. It makes the story more sensational and keeps it in the headlines when they can push them out over time. It would be interesting to see how many times they tried this and failed to get the damning footage they wanted. It would also be interesting to see what sort of results they'd get if they tried it with lawyers and tax advisers. Of course that doesn't fit their anti-ACORN agenda.

From a legal perspective, I assume this is entrapment and not actionable. Nonetheless, ACORN needs to clean up its act.

This is not entrapment just like To catch a Predator or Perverted Justice is not entrapment.

Entrapment is the act of a law enforcement agent inducing a person to commit an offense which would be illegal and the person would otherwise have been unlikely to commit.

First time is a mistake, second time a coincident , third time, maybe there is a major problem that's hidden.

It may not be legally actionable but shows these individuals are pretty morally bankrupt.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I agree. That's what I was thinking of when I said "from a legal perspective." I was suggesting that IF a law enforcement agent did this it would be considered entrapment and would not be actionable. Since these "investigators" were private citizens acting on their own it is not legally entrapment.
