Nobody ever saw the speech Obama was going to give. I'm guessing it is either shredded or burned, probably both.

I suspect Acorn will come out with a statement that those were just workers and that is not official policy. Same way they did with the voting .

Fox did plays parts of the video on tv, so it wasn't quotes. The Acorn worker was very clear about the things she was suggesting. I just wanted to see what else they said.

Riiiiiight. I always blame the entire company when one guy does something wrong. To do otherwise, would be feeble-minded, eh MW?

And your paranoid delusional partisan bent is quite obvious. Yes indeedy, Obama shredded and then burned his original speech, just so no one would ever see it. Mmmmm hmmmmm. Are you off your meds? Or are you normally like this?

Naturally, if particular ACORN employees in a particular ACORN office advocate illegal activity, that MUST be the official ACORN position that they recommend to all their workers. :disgust:

What advocation of illegal activity? What you hear is just good tax advice.

Can't it be both?

It's just another page from GOP playbook on how to further alienate yourself from mainstream America and lose more elections. They really have their finger on the pulse, don't they? Yeah, if that pulse is located up their ass.

Hmm... that's odd. They why did they get fired and may face criminal charges?

Can all of the defenders honestly say ACORN is a fine upstanding organization? I'm curious. After the constant bad and most times illegal actions, can you really believe that?

Seems about even with Best Buy and their scouting and copying porn off of hard drives so far.

You do blame the entire company, look at your bias towards anything fox news . You immediately assume it isn't true without even checking the facts.

Partisan, not at all. If I had my way we would have no political parties. The whole democrat/republican stuff is nonsense. Toss them all out.

Do you really believe that the speech Obama gave to schools is the same one he would have given had nobody interfered ? If so, I have not only bridges for sale, but ocean front property in Arizona.

If an ACORN employee killed someone while fulfilling their job then...yes...there would be outrage over it.

There is a difference between doing something on your own time while you happen to be an ACRON employee and doing something at work and having it be part of your sanctioned job.

Hahaha yea, because mainstream America is on the look out for sound tax advice on getting underaged hookers to qualify as dependents for Child Tax Credits, and how to get the best tax rate on selling their ass.

Huh, the Democrats gave 8 BILLION dollars to ACRON in the stimulus package. Good times.

Nice to see John Conyers step up to the plate and try and start an investigation into this group only to have that investigation halted by the "powers that be"

Mr. Conyers, Michigan Democrat, earlier bucked his party leaders by calling for hearings on accusations the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now (ACORN) has committed crimes ranging from voter fraud to a mob-style "protection" racket.

"The powers that be decided against it," Mr. Conyers told The Washington Times as he left the House chambers Wednesday.

This is going to come back to shoot the Democrats in the foot.

The portrayal is false and defamatory and an attempt at 'gotcha journalism,' " said Scott Levenson, a spokesman at ACORN's national offices. "This film crew tried to pull this sham at other offices and failed. ACORN wants to see the full video before commenting further."

The conservative filmmakers unsuccessfully attempted similar ruses at the group's offices in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Los Angeles, California, and New York, Levenson said

maybe because they tried this in different offices accross the nation and this was the first instance of of employees giving questionable advice, and they were fired because of that.

What difference does it make if this is "gotcha" journalism?

yeah its just a video of 4 people in a room, the two people form acorn basically telling these other people how to do some awesome illegal tax code stuff. I don't see how this is biased, it wasn't even made by fox news, they were just the only ones to run it. really the only new organization to run it, dont you think there should at least be some interest in this, enough to justify 5min on cnn?

Because it's being painted as an ACORN wide problem and it isn't. Just a couple of low level employees who did something stupid and they got canned for it.

Except for the fact that IT IS an ACORN wide problem and this is just another example.

then why did only 2 fall for this if it's a an ACORN wide problem?

If this was accross the whole origization, I would expect more than 2 to fall for this.

Its not a matter of the actual events, its a matter of the FOXNews spin implicating all of ACORN for the actions of a few low-life shitheads.
