Well I run the unit every single day and this is the first time this has happend.

I'm guessing some time today he crawled into the unit. It isn't like some ancient unit.

jagec, I'm just wondering. I don't know the effects of having a mouse sit in my a/c unit.

I am having moce problems too...what did you finally do to get rid of them...traps are not working, and I sealed with foam all the entry points

Idiot! That's an integral part of the AC unit! Pick it up and push it back through the grating FAST before you void your warranty!!!

That was a pretty funny night...

An air conditioner just popped out of my grandma!

The Mods missed it the first time around with the broom & mop, but picked up on it when I commented a week or two ago about how it had been missed 🙁

Should I not be breathing this air in? It wasn't dead, it was just in there. He sh1t himself once I turned the a/c on.

This is a pretty expensive Panasonic unit too. I would not want to just throw it away. What should I do?

If you are talking about the electronic Panasonic 'JDM' type A/C's that are a couple grand and mount totally inside the home (and are quiet)...I don't see how a mouse got in it.

Panasonic's wall units aren't that 'expensive' but a mouse, lizard, snake, dust from as$hole deciding to cut concrete outside...can especially if you open the external vent.

We have a nice panasonic in our server room along with the central a/c.
