There are bound to be other Bush supporters who see this as an exercise in bad taste. Commercializing those images is bad taste, nothing more or less.

There's another side to this issue. They had said earlier that they wouldn't use the attacks for political gain. Does the fact that they are in fact doing what they said they wouldn't say anything to you?

You actually knowing what is going on would definately be a first for you.

That said, I haven't a problem with him using those images. Of course I don't have a problem with his opponents using those same images to point out his failure to protect American citizens at home . Of course the same can be said of Clinton.

I think that Bush is doing exactly as he is allowed - to showcase his leadership during his time as President. You can try to say that these ads were about 9/11 but you'd be missing the point of them. Their point was leadership - not the tradgedy. Again - there is a fine line to walk but so far Bush hasn't come close to that line of "politicising" the events of 9/11 for political gain.

I caught that too - the first time, before they replayed it. It's great when seminar callers are nabbed Not only was she nabbed for trying to say she was a Republican - she was nabbed by lying about kerry's ad with Vietnam as the backdrop That woman has serious issues....or she was just a seminar caller who was had

I am voting for Kerry but am on georgewbush.com's mailing list and one other reelect mailing list. So it was one or the other who sent round a email with links a few days before the first broadcast. I deleted it without looking so can't confirm the exact source.

kerry was over there, risking his neck with those that did not make it.

bush has nothing to do with the brave firefighters that went in and never came back out. the firefighters and their families have ever right to be upset with bush.
