Wow, I ordered the M3P on the 9th and got an email an hour ago stating I need to schedule a time to come down and get the car. That's two weeks. They said November and online personalities said December, but its still October and ready for delivery.

It‘s always been like that. If you pick a configuration that they happen to have available for whatever reason (manufacturing batching, someone with the same configuration cancels, etc) you might get it early.

I'd expect they'll have superchargers just for them since they'll need dedicated access to a certain amount to turn cars quickly.

Really what I want at airports is covered long term parking with 110v outlets. I simply don't need L2 or L3 charging when the car is going to sit for a week.

The bad news is that my 3 is now the Nissan Altima of rental cars, but the jump in stock means I can trade it for a Plaid. Even Carvana is willing to pay me a few thousand more than I paid for the car in July.

CT or bust at this point. The drag strip is no longer open here and I really shouldn't be one to have a low 9 second car on the street. The 3 Performance is enough trouble.

Just stopped Costco to fill of the ole Tundra and noticed four of the ten bays at the Tesla Supercharger across the street were all Model's and all unattended. This is the location I am talking about. Chilly wet morning.

Well hello neighbor.

I'm sure there are a million in one reasons, but the work week just ended and people probably get up early to charge before things get busy. I know that area is a mad house on the weekends and if you don't have a house, that's where you would charge. There may also be a gym in that area or the grocery stores.
