@pcgeek11 will be cool with any scotus ruling that gives him his desired outcome regardless if it's consistent. But that's pretty immaterial for this thread which is about election results. We have a whole thread on the student loan program for pcgeek11 to complain in about that program.

3 time loser Mike Erickson here in OR still hasn't conceded his race to Salinas yet either. He's down almost 3 points. Dear Mike: we don't like you. Go away.

Everyone knows that the best time for a candidate to announce their intentions to run for President is right after they've led their party to 2 back-to-back electoral defeats.

Lol.. my wife and I were discussing this while filling out our ballots. Erickson's campaign advertising said he's "not a career politician," and I told her just because he never wins doesn't mean he hasn't made a career out of running.

LOL. Yup. How much has that dude lit on fire to still not get elected. I hate to go all Trumpy and shit, but if he runs again and I was campaigning against him I'd just refer to him as "Three time loser Mike Erickson" every chance I had. At what point do you get the message you just aren't likeable?

The other thing that irked me about Erickson's campaign was the fearmongering over tolling. I'm opposed to tolling as much as anyone else, but the 205 clusterF isn't going to widen itself and the Republicans shot down the gas tax that would have paid for it.

So you've always been retired? Difference in interest and principle is meaningless, you could immediately take your discount and pay off principle with it.

Just admit you like government subsidies that benefit you but not ones that don't directly benefit you. Although all those kids with educations is what's paying for your SS and Medicare.

Yeah...and when I worked, I paid into SS and Medicare...paying for those who retired before me. Complaining about that is like complaining about someone getting a new car after their insurance paid the claim following a car crash. They paid into the fund that paid it.

I wasn't complaining about it, I was saying you benefit from the younger generation being educated and having the capability to pay taxes for your benefits.

OK, that's fine, but if you take a loan, knowing the full details of the loan and agree to pay it back, why should it not be paid as agreed?

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha.... not gonna happen, Rick.
I swear, "these" republicans "thought" they would win it all, now.... they think they own it all.
All good news for democrats 2024.
Why do the biggest losers and Rick Scot is a loser, look at the red wave that died on the sandbar of reality... Always strive for leadership in the Pub party? Is there a gene that causes you to never have any shame?
