Cheatriots find their Hernandez replacement, have signed Fred Davis.

Yea, because the Jets have never been caught cheating.. :whiste: and we signed '6"7 Scott Chandler as he was always giving the Patriots problems covering him, playing alongside '6"6 Gronk should make them a formidable force at that position.

After what Ryan Tannehill just got, I wouldn't want to have to resign a QB at all right now.

I like RT and he's shown improvement every year but at $15/year that seems like a proven guy like Flacco would command. The dolphins are projected to be $21 mil over the cap next year, wow, just wow, the Suh contract alone was monstrous.

Tannehill: "Another one of those dudes drafted before Russell Wilson"

Yeah, but he doesn't suck either and *could* be a SB winning QB at some point. This could end up like the Joe Montana draft where he was drafted late and won the SB early, but Phil Sims who was drafted earlier still did great for the Giants.

Oh I do like Tannehill. He's Brad Johnson/Vinnie Greentesticles good.

I was thinking you were posting in the wrong thread. I was like, not the brow! Nooo! Remembered 49ers had an Anthony Davis as well.

The good news is we should get a high draft pick in the following years draft!

A LOT of players are re-evaluating where they are in life and how much NFL football possibly takes away from the future. Over the years players have become faster, stronger, and are delivering more massive hits than ever, great for the fans, not so much for those playing. Hopefully the young players will realize the importance of money management and if/when they decide the players life is too dangerous for their long-term health will be in a decent financial position if they should opt to quit. Already Pop-Warner and High school football enrollment is trending downwards, with several high-profile suicides and the horror story about what happened to the legendary '85 Bears team is getting a lot of people's attention.

It's not often when both fans and the player involved can say "thank goodness it was only a nut shot."

http://www.nj.com/eagles/index.ssf/2015/06/ouch_demarco_murray_gets_hit_in_manhood_misses_par.html

PHILADELPHIA — It was a momentary scare caused by some brief, but likely very intense, pain. At the end of a run during 11-on-11 drills on Tuesday, Eagles running back DeMarco Murray went right to the ground, and was quickly surrounded by trainers. At the time, it looked to be a hamstring pull, or something that might have the team's new $40 million running back missing some time.

After practice, Murray revealed what kept him on the ground. "I got hit in the balls," Murray said as he walked into the locker room. Ouch. The shot to his manhood only cost Murray a few plays in what was an otherwise successful practice for the running back.

I bet he's signed before the end of the month.

Guess we will see how tough Bradford is now. ;)

I think he'll get signed even faster than that. But I also think he might lose salary. I guess we'll see.

PLEASE let it be by the Falcons. We still have holes on the O-Line we need to fill and I'm pretty sure have the cap space.

Not to rub it in, but the 49er off season has been an absolute dumpster fire this off season. Reading how Bowman's knee is still not totally right :( As a Hawk fan that makes me upset--great player, horrible injury.

What is the statute of limitations on York blaming Harbaugh for the 49er demise?

How bad do you have to be not to beat out E.J. Manuel for a job?

Per the Buffalo News' Vic Carucci, Matt Cassel was "easily the worst-looking quarterback" at Bills offseason practices.

"Cassel doesn’t move well, he doesn’t always throw the prettiest ball, and has easily had the worst-looking practice performances of all of the quarterbacks," wrote Carucci, who isn't the first Bills writer to dog on the 11-year veteran this spring. With spring practices in the books, it sounded like E.J. Manuel was the best of the bad among Bills quarterbacks. Still, odds are Cassel will get the nod to start come Week 1 unless he completely faceplants in the preseason.

Is that around Alex Smith?

maybe if Alex Smith didn't have a noodle arm. I'd put Johnson/Testeverde above those guys, though.

I do like Smith, but you really have to fit him in to the proper scheme to make him effective.

The scheme where you only throw to Jamaal Charles out of the backfield? Lol
