I watched and actually liked Grinder, possibly because of my fondness for the "comically self-deprecating" Rob Lowe that emerged for me in Parks and Rec.

Bordertown was world class awful. I can't emphasize this enough. Because of its writing provenance, I twice tried to give it a chance. I couldn't get through more than 3 minutes of it either time.

The network churn on new series is insane. Why do they keep replacing the same old thing with a new version of the same old thing?
Bordertown was the only one I could sort of tolerate. Never got past one or two episodes of the others. How is Dr. Ken still on?

Not to be quiet, Fox allows 'Sleepy Hollow' to ride for another year.

The 'Game of Silence' wasn't so lucky, and neither are those 'Faking It'.

The 'Undateable' 'Telenovela' joins the distraught, just to show you didn't have 'Chance'.

And 'Minority Report' had it's grave discovered.

How long has Sleepy Hollow been on the air now? I have almost no tolerance for horror/fantasy - The Walking Dead and Marvel comic movies bore the hell out of me - but I watched the first season of Sleepy Hollow and thought it was clever, entertaining. The trouble was that it quickly became repetitious and I lost interest. I recall a reluctant-werewolf character that was particularly funny, and maybe the best part of the show.

Wow, I'd forgotten about all of those. I was a pretty loyal viewer of Minority Report, but I can't say I'm sorry to see it go. For shows like this you need imaginative writing and what you normally get instead is plot retreads.

SERIOUSYLLLLY! Can't believe they renewed Sleepy Hollow.
And here comes another reboot!

Guess it was cheap enough to let it run another season, or they just don't have any replacements. The new crop of shows they just introduced are pretty bad.

Any good? I've never seen it.
My wife and I really liked. It was exceptionally well written IMO, and the characters had a great chemistry. Unfortunately, I think it went downhill over the last two or three seasons. It seems like they ran out of good ideas and switched to more outlandish plots to fill the void. That seems to be a challenge with any series that lasts for years.

If you saw the season finale, they already rebooted it at the end of the episode.

it went off it's rocker in the 2nd season.
the cool premise was a machine gun wielding headless horseman.

then the headless horseman had less screen time than a minor repeating char.
then in season 2, the writers decided a reboot and made that minor char into the main antagonist.
the headless horseman now had a near ZERO screen time. Sigh...

3yrs later, and a reboot every 1/2 season, this train wreck is now, somehow, renewed for a 4th season!??!
yup, 6 reboots in 3yrs.
can we get back to a machine gun wielding headless horseman and the bridge he cant cross?

now whats the real reason the main actress (Abby) left the show?

These ABC cancellations are a bummer. Not that I seriously expected Galavant or Agent Carter to get renewed, but both of those shows deserved better.🙁 ABC has a serious lack of fun now.

Though it was admittedly time for Castle to go. It had a good run.

Galavant I don't understand. Every episode had pretty funny musical numbers that I would have thought appealed to a fairly large audience. They really did need a different story arc in there though, besides 'saving the princess from the evil queen.' Props to whoever wrote the song lyrics. A lot of good stuff there and I hate almost all musicals and musical-like shows.
Musicals are a tough market, even at the best of times. The only music-ish programs that do well seem to be the talent shows - lots of interpersonal drama, and you don't have to worry about whether the audience "gets" the songs since they're almost all covers.

Right, Crane is going to work for the Feds in their new special division... but, that needs to be rebooted ASAP, I am just cringing thinking about how all this will play out, like trying to do a mix of supernatural / ghostbusters / x-files thing.

Galavant is atrocious. Glad it's gone.
I agree (in a singing voice!) 😉

Wake me up when they get some dragons. Although I'll also settle for cock merchants.

It may be one of the 'Mysteries of Laura', but it seems her party was cancelled.
I watched that show the first season and then off and on. I really, really can't stand the lead actress - Grace from Will and Grace I think. But I sort of liked the show. Although I don't think any kind of crime procedural show can keep my interest any more. It's like only being able to eat pizza for the rest of your life. After the first couple hundred pies, there's not too much left to make it interesting.

Code Black, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, The Odd Couple, and Undercover Boss renewed, Rush Hour rushed into oblivion.
