If it was awesome, it wouldn't have been canned.
Every review (all 73 ratings) of Galavant Season 2 is 5 stars on iTunes. Not even a single 4 star. How often does that happen with a show that isn't awesome?
I wholeheartedly disagree with this statement. That being said, Galavant blew so hard.
I got a real kick out of Galavant myself, but didn't expect it to survive.
Even the cast didn't expect season 2.

It was a fun thing while it lasted.
Yeah good show. I didn't always look forward to watching it but once I got started, I always got into it. That says a lot about the writing. This definitely deserves another season. And I think it would do better as a CW show than CBS. I think CBS skews too much to older folks and the humor in the show doesn't really register with an older crowd. That's my opinion anyway.cbs is looking for new home for Limitless.

fun show always a little surprising in which direction they turned. never jumped into trope shark territory even though they couldnt maintain the really clever stuff from the first few ep. I really hope it finds a new home.

I liked Galavant. It wasn't for everyone, it takes a brain to know when to laugh without a laugh track. So that cuts the audience down 90% right from the start.
Any good? I've never seen it.
The syndication market has “exploded” with the growth of domestic and global subscription VOD services. As a result, “having ownership is a huge, huge difference — and it does affect everything we do. A show that’s 100% owned [by CBS] will generally get a better time period and generally will be more important to the network.”
That was evident in the six new shows CBS picked up for this fall. It owns 100% of three of them, 50% of two, and 70% of one.
Illustrating how ownership pays off, he noted that Elementary, which CBS owns, last year “made approximately an $80 million profit for the corporation,” while Person Of Interest, owned by Warner Bros., “broke even.”
“As I’m looking at my new schedule, guess which show got renewed? It became really self evident.”
...
Sony Pictures Television chairman Steve Mosko understood the rules, Moonves told the audience, when he pitched Kevin James’ upcoming sitcom Kevin Can Wait. The “first thing” he said was “‘we get that to get on it’s got to be a 50-50 partnership.’ I said ‘done, you’ve got a deal.’ “
“We’re not alone in this,” the CBS chief says, observing that Fox owns nine of 10 new shows, and ABC has 10 of 11.
Bordertown was the only one I could sort of tolerate. Never got past one or two episodes of the others. How is Dr. Ken still on?
Love how this is always the fall back excuse when some shit show gets canned.
I've been trying to watch Person of Interest from scratch, it's not bad but have been having trouble really getting into it.
It seems pretty much stand alone episodes more or less from what I've seen, unless it changes later on.
It's kind of like Firefly, along those lines.
But I suppose you never watched that either...
Tad Cooper deserved better

Still have never watched Castle I guess.
some interesting perspective....

Looks like Grimm is a good news but not great news situation. Reenewal only for half a season worth of episodes to "allow flexibility" in scheduling.
Supergirl is a good match for the CW. Much better than it was for CBS. But I think the show's writers are going to have to up their game. Most of the shows on CW are pretty well written. Sure, a lot of it is tween/teen pandering but that's fine if it's done reasonably well. Personally I don't think SG is up to CW standards, at least not as it is now. I'm not saying CW is the AMC of the youth market but it's not ABC Family/Freeform either. And even some of the stuff I've seen there isn't bad.
