I'm fairly sure most people on here are not ones who believe vaccines cause autism, but I know we have a few. I believe this is one of the few issues which is not contentious by political affiliation.

• Five cohort studies involving 1,256,407 children and five case-control studies involving 9920 children were included in this analysis.
•There was no relationship between vaccination and autism (OR: 0.99; 95% CI: 0.92 to 1.06).
•There was no relationship between vaccination and ASD (OR: 0.91; 95% CI: 0.68 to 1.20).
•There was no relationship between vaccination and MMR (OR: 0.84; 95% CI: 0.70 to 1.01).
• There was no relationship between vaccination and thimerosal (OR: 1.00; 95% CI: 0.77 to 1.31).
• There was no relationship between vaccination and mercury (Hg) (OR: 1.00; 95% CI: 0.93 to 1.07).
• Findings of this meta-analysis suggest that vaccinations are not associated with the development of autism or autism spectrum disorder.

The fact that 99+% of all actively-publishing epidemiologists agree with this result just proves how pervasive the conspiracy is. Never trust a consensus. Since Ryan's parents are not epidemiologists, they're clearly more qualified than trained scientists with PhDs to draw cause-and-effect conclusions.

Where are your numbers post 2007? Go look at those.

You're making the claim. Now show us the data.

All that indicates is the number of "official diagnosis" of autism, but not the actual rates.

This has to be one of the stupidest so-called points in the history of ATPN. And since no one can know the "actual rate" (or do you have some special arrangement with God?), that must make it really easy to argue that "actual" autism rates have gone up, down, or sideways.

We need a good study to determine if the incidence of Michele Bachmann has been rising the past several years. And if the incidence is rising, can we blame it on vaccines?
