What a great series. Two prolific teams...Celtics V Bulls. How many overtimes has there been so far? 5 or 6?

4 OT's
106 lead changes
Both are Playoff records and it's not over yet.
Oh and Ray Allen Hit 9 3's which tied a Playoff record and attempted 18 of them which set a record.

anyone know where the heck is T-Mac?
i dont follow houston, but i don't see him on the bench at all. i know he's injured, but shouldnt he be on the bench like KG for Boston? or is TMac bad luck? (which is why they are now in the 2nd round?)
Anyone that reports to the media (or on his blog?) and not the team first that he's having season ending surgery has already quit the team. I don't think too many houston fans are sweating this one. It's sad, but I think he brought this on himself.
His contract ends next season. We'll see what Houston does. I hope they dump him as soon as they can.

4 OT games....7 OT's total...whew.
edit: flipped beat me to it. That's a heckuva lot of extra playing time lately.

The big question is... do I break out my Bulls totems or my Celtics totems on Saturday night? Or both?

Celtics are garbage all around...
In the Magic game last night, Dalembert threw an elbow to the head of Turkoglu. Dalembert's a dirty bastard when he plays and the refs should be keeping an eye on him. Yet somehow he got away with the elbow and when Turk fronted Dalembert and got in his face about it, the refs ejected Turk (rightfully so). But they even went back and watched a replay of the events, which clearly showed the blatant elbow, and still didn't asses the proper foul on Dalembert.Originally posted by: Flipped Gazelle

Rondo even admitted after the game that he wasn't going for the ball. They suspend Dwight and Rondo gets off scot-free? Total BS.Originally posted by: jjsole
Just in, no flagrant for Rondo. What a bunch of BS.
I'm kinda surprised at all of the "conspiracy-for-the Celtics" talk. I would say that, overall, they do not get preferential treatment. In some cases, they kinda get screwed, but they bring it upon themselves with all the talking and whining at officials.

Crap! I wish the Celts won lastnight b/c I'm running a marathon Sunday morning and need to go to bed early!

No they're just missing their game changing player. Kevin Garnett is to the Celtics as Manu Ginobili is to the Spurs. They totally change the offense and defense of their team.
Also Chicago is playing much better in this series than they did during the regular season. They have a lot to prove and have very many young players that are trying to establish themselves in the NBA.

I don't know if I can watch any more playoffs rounds after this Bulls/Celtics series. They simply have set the bar so high that really nothing is going to compare. They may not be the best teams in the playoffs...but this will easily be the best "games" in the playoffs.
I love Chicago's heart. They don't have allstars. Don't have championship/playoff experience. Don't have a coach like Doc Rivers. Yet they are still hanging in there.
I don't care that Boston is missing Kevin Garnett. They still have two of the best 2/3 guards playing and arguably the best PG in the eastern conference on their team.
And Chicago is still hanging in there.

Too bad your team sold its soul for 1 championship. (Even tho I would LOVE for the PHX suns to do the same)
