Has there been in series this good in recent memory???
Can't remember the last time a series was this intense.

Great night to be a Magic fan too. 25 point victory over Philly without Howard. Now their next oppenents are going to 7 games and beating themselves silly in the process.

Yeah, Orlando's gotta be loving this.

I've been watching basketball for about 25 years, and I can't think of any other series where 5 of the 6 games were decided by 1 possession. Typically, a "great" series will have most games decided by <10 points, and go 7 games. This series has been remarkable. If this were the Finals, I bet many folks would call it the best Finals ever.

I guess because it's easier to root for the "underdog"?

A Celtic fouls a Bull, there's an uproar, but Pierce gets smacked in the head on several occasions and nobody says anything.

yeah not like the bulls didn't miss any calls.

If Rondo isn't suspended for game 7, I don't know what the fuck the NBA is doing. That punk ass needs to be tossed.

Why would he be suspended for game 7?

yeah you're right, hip-tossing someone into the scorers table is kosher. No biggie

Hinrich shouldn't be pushing him to start.

start what? Rondo dragged him all the way to the scorers table and threw him into it....yeah.

I'm guessing you're ignoring that Hinrich started it by pushing Rondo backwards with his arm. Rondo, just olay-d him.

Hinrich was boxing out Rondo, and continued to do so even though he was not going for the ball. That is a foul. Rondo then pulled the old switcheroo with Hinrich, and pushed him - and also used Hinrich's own momentum - into the scorer's table. That is a foul, too.

BTW, Hinrich retaliated by hitting Rondo under the chin. That is also grounds for a suspension.

This kind of stuff goes on a lot, w/o talk of suspension. It's only because of the Rondo/Howard/Wade incidents that now there is talk. How 'bout everyone just man-up and play now.

And as a PS, the "old switcheroo" is something many of us who play basketball do/are a victim of. You use your opponents momentum and then give a little shove. The Rondo/Hinirch incident was certain stronger than that, but the idea was pretty similar.

Should the Bull who gave Pierce a bloody mouth that required stitches be suspended? Should the Bull who wound up and chopped Pierce across the side of his face and neck be suspended?

Watch the fucking clip. Before the 3 point line was when rondo pulled the "o-lay". The problem is when he continues to pull a falling-backward Hinrich by the arm and then toss him into the scorer's table.

anyone know where the heck is T-Mac?
i dont follow houston, but i don't see him on the bench at all. i know he's injured, but shouldnt he be on the bench like KG for Boston? or is TMac bad luck? (which is why they are now in the 2nd round?)

Ok so Game 7 is on Saturday but time hasn't been annouced yet. I hope they annouce it tomorrow and someone posts it here as a reminder cus I'm ganna make sure I go to a bar to watch it. I've been watching these other ones at home.

Da Bulls......WOW! They aren't always pretty to watch, but they never never quit. That's cliche to say, but they proved it again. and NOAH shooting the passing lane on Pierce in the 3rd overtime??? LOL! That play was amazing for such a hard working but inconsistent player. Good for him!

Anyone that reports to the media (or on his blog?) and not the team first that he's having season ending surgery has already quit the team. I don't think too many houston fans are sweating this one. It's sad, but I think he brought this on himself.

Just watched the clip.

Again, Hinrich initiated things w/his box-out. Did Rondo escalate? Yes. Hinrich went back and attacked Rondo after that. That ameliorates some of the sympathy Hinrich might have received.

That play does not warrant anything more than a foul, and a technical on both players.

You still refuse to address the fact that the Bulls pounded the hell out of Pierce.

I have an idea. Why don't you stop whining like a little girl, grow a pair, and root for your team on Saturday?

His contract ends next season. We'll see what Houston does. I hope they dump him as soon as they can.
