Great game. Bulls need to ditch noah, that guy is making way too many mistakes and cost them the game tonight, and almost cost them the win in game 1 if it weren't for pierce missing the FT. Bull could've been up by 2 if noah dribble right under the basket and went with the wide open 2 handed dunk. But instead he tried to throw it down like howard in the dunk contest. So not only did he not get fouled, he didn't get the easy basket. FAIL!

Yeah, I don't like that much, either, but that is Allen's comfort zone. For great shooters, distance isn't as much of an obstacle as footwork and rhythm.

it would be fucking sweet if maybe one of the 7 footers on the Bulls could dunk a basketball or maybe even get a rebound over a 6 foot point guard. god fucking dammit

Rondo is, at times, an amazing rebounder.

I'd be a little surprised if the Celtics win this series. Young, fast teams give them fits, and w/o KG...

Ray Allen -> Rip Hamilton -> Ben Gordon. Pretty good for the UConn guys.

Awesome game.

Agreed about Noah. He had such promise coming out of college but he just hasn't raised his level much. Kudos to da Bulls though. They are hanging in there better than I thought they would. Now Boston has to play in their house. The Celts can barely beat them one game at home. Hopefully there's still some surprises left.

Parker should get more credit. His production this year has been phenominal. Beyond his personal stats, what he creates on the floor is second to very few in the NBA. imo, he's the best overall player on the Spurs, at least with Ginobli out.

He's been the most consistent with Duncan's knee problems and Ginobili gone for most of the season. He's the reason why they even made it to the playoffs. He's probably the best scoring PG out there. Not the best PG but the way he penetrates on practically every team, he makes it look easy.

I really hope Duncan rests this off-season for his knees and gets them taken care of. Those back to back games really kill him. Hell, Popovich was complaining that Game 1 and Game 2 didn't have a full 48hrs of time between for to let Duncan rest.

Yes, Parker does deserve more credit as I think he is one of the most media-underrated players in the league. I don't agree that he's the best overall player on the Spurs though, I believe that title still goes to Duncan. If Duncan wants, he'll get 30+ points a game - but he's obviously deferred to Parker since he was having a good game tonight. Duncan still gives 100% on both ends of the floor, but not true for Parker - he tends to slack off on defense.

1) Duncan
2) Parker
3) Healthy Manu

Duncan is old for the NBA. I don't think he has more than 2 or 3 years left in him, at most. Once he's gone it's doubtful SA will be a contender unless they magically (no pun intended) pick up a Dwight Howard type clone for their inside game. It's going to be difficult to fill his shoes.

Parker is still up and coming. His penetration in the middle is amazing. He gets to penetrate Eva Longoria in the middle too, which is a plus in my book. :)

I always make sure to watch carefully cus on home games they will show her in the crowd. I didn't see her tonight or Game 1.

Here's the problem, Timmy's the type of player that doesn't rely on his athleticism - so he actually has around 5 years left in him. Look at Kurt Thomas, he's 37 years old and he's in because of his defense and his skill set. Tim will be the same way - and you need to watch it, if you put all the pressure on Tony, next thing you know, Tim will have 32 points & 18 rebounds and you're wondering why you've lost the game.

Don't get me wrong, Tony is the future of the Spurs - but the Spurs have been a playoff team ever since they came into the NBA.

I can't really say much on the officiating of the Chi/Boston game. I felt that the refs let them play *really* physical last night. There was a ton of pushing and shoving going on. Lots of battling for position and some strong box outs and fighting for loose balls. Plus a lot of no calls on borderline blocks/charges. The only call I really had a problem with was the "all ball" block Noah had on Perkins and the T that followed it. And that's just because he had an even cleaner and more embarassing on on Perkins in Game 1 he called called a fantom foul on.

That's twice now Noah stuffed the big dude cleanly and was penalized for it.

My comment really didn't have to do with Duncan losing a step. His experience has already made up for that because he's hasn't been as quick as he once was for some time now. What concerns me is what zerocool84 spoke about - his knees. I'm not sure they can withstand 5 more seasons of pounding.

Both of the Bulls vs Celts games have delivered. Amazing games.

I basically just turn off these 20+ point difference games, too boring.

Great point, something I hadn't really noticed as a whole, but he was really useless and counter-productive down the stretch for the bulls. He's capable of being effective, but is still very immature and absent-minded sometimes.

Yeh, Noah has made some bonehead plays this series late in the game. The foul on Pierce in game one in particular. Salmons was worse though in game one. I think he dribbled it off his foot twice, had a travel, and just made some really bad shots. Miller has been sloppy too with some really limp passing and not protecting the ball well and getting it batted away.

With the last two games being decided by last second shots you simply can't have mistakes like that.

Absolutely no way. I am a Mavs fan but I love Duncan (unless he's playing us). The guy is incredible but no way he has 5 years left. I don't even think he has 3 to be honest.

If he is around in 4 years he will be the Brett Favre of the NBA but I think he's too smart for that.

If LeBron stays with the Cavs, can't you just see TD coming off the bench to play 20 minutes a game, winning a ring or two... kinda like Bill walton.

Please tell me you're not implying that Duncan would go to the Cavs, because you need to share some of that awesome shit you're smoking if you are.

Duncan will stay with the Spurs till 36 or so, which is 4 years. He is under contract until 2012, and I can see an extension for 2 years as a reserve.
