I don't think that you should force people to acceptance. Tolereance is a fine answer in this respect.
 
She's actually staying a bit more on topic now thanks to the moderator but still needs to stay on the question. It's like the beginning of her speech seems like she will answer the question but then she takes a detour.
 
As Biden is talking does anyone else notice how Sarah stares into the camera and blinks - kinda like the 'deer in the headlights' .... ???

This isn't new. Recognizing equal rights/civil unions for gay couples != gay marriage

The federal govt doesn't marry people anyway, so they're really just talking about benefits, etc., and it appears that both sides on the same page there.

seems like Biden is addressing the moderator and Palin is trying to address the people watching tv.
