hey, Biden's pimping out his son. nice.

Palin brought him into the picture first...

did she?

I can't pay attention to anything she says unless I really focus on it, trying to follow her answers is like running through a maze with a blindfold on.

I've learned that listening to the debate is annoying so I don't. Reading the play-by-play here is freaking hilarious. Thanks to all, lefties and righties!

Hehe, she's switching between nuclear & nucular. Can't pronounce the leader of Iran's name, either, but then again 98% of Americans probably can't.

Read between the lines, they support civil unions.

Like I said above, as many argued here in the past, civil union isn't the same as "marriage" regardless if one gets the same benefits.

Who gives a shit?

I take it you don't like "I can't believe it's not butter"?

Wow surprised Biden actually said he and Obama don't support gay marriage 🙂

This isn't new. Recognizing equal rights/civil unions for gay couples != gay marriage

The federal govt doesn't marry people anyway, so they're really just talking about benefits, etc., and it appears that both sides on the same page there.

Vic, I'd beg to differ a bit, I can't even keep count of the number of posts here alone where people put alot of weight in the term marriage and want it extended ala Massachusetts to everyone.

Both candidates here sounded like they have no problem with the extension of benefits and what not, but neither wanted to stand behind extending the designation of marriage to homosexual couples...really seems to go against some of the liberal mantra 🙂

So like I said, ballsy for Biden for taking a hard stance on that, and wonder how much it will hurt them going forward.

I think you're missing it. States marry people, not the federal govt. On the federal level, only the extension of benefits, etc is within its power.

Compared to how people predicted she would do here I am really surprised, I would be crapping my pants up there...
