1. Will it be the same on all networks essentially? NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS?

2. Will it start on Pacific Coast at 6PM?

It looks that way, with the exception of Fox, which will impose Hannity over the first hour.

"Check your local listings".

Is this the official DNC thread?????
What I noticed so far with the DNC, it is way too namby-pamby. Way too kumbaya. Too weak and totally missing the point. Way too far-left liberal-elitist bull-crappy. Just the stuff that so many democrats love, and that continually lose democrats election after election. Does anyone think that the RNC will be kumbaya or namby-pamby? NOPE!!!! Republicans, during their RNC, will go straight for the throat. Right for the jugular vein of the democratic party. On night one of the RNC, there will be so much HATE for Joe Biden and so much LOVE for Donald Trump it will make every TV transistor cringe. Democrats will emerge from their convention holding hands and skipping along. Republicans will emerge from their convention wearing war paint, holding flaming torches, and yelling DEATH TO THE DEMOCRATS. And.... guess which tactic will emerge as the winning tactic? Not the namby-pamby, that is for sure.

Bill Maher had a great piece on this, and now I cant find it.
He said Dems need to stop appealing to special interest groups. Picking up 50 or 100 votes doesn't matter when you lose ten thousand.
No one gives a shit about quadriplegic transgender spirit crystal vagina egg sellers. Stop trying.

Not sure that the Dems have to sink to the level of viciousness the Republicans show, and they certainly dont have to sink to the outright lying the Reps do, but I agree, they need to focus their appeal to more mainstream concerns and more effectively attack Trump and his policies.

Well, I made the wrong choice. In the OP I asked if they'd be all the same. I came back an hour later and there were no responses so I watched NBC coverage, which was only an hour and much of the time it was two anchors commenting off the cuff... mistake. It was actually 2 hours (I discovered after the fact).

Well, is there somewhere I can see the whole first night after the fact, i.e. now?

I wasn't planning on watching it but it was on, and CNN just had straight coverage, with no commentary, and it was mostly really well done. A few lulls but in some ways the virtual was better than the 3d version.

FOUND IT!

Of course, cuz I complained I couldnt, so then I did.
Totally agree with him. I have cringed a lot of times to hear some of the weird things the Democrats have endorsed. "Stop trying to prevent the social warriors from going over to Donald Trump." The last thing he said there. It's fuckin' true. Be less crazy than Trump. It isn't that hard.

Way too far-left liberal-elitist bull-crappy.
Far-left? Or, do you mean right-center moderate-elitist bull-crappy?

Far-left:
Free health&fitness&elderly care.
Free lifelong education access/opportunity & lifetime job access/opportunity.
Universal basic services(Internet, Bus, Trains, Planes, etc and more?) and universal basic income(Citizen income, etc?).

You're talking subscription TV or can I get that at CNN.com? I'm just OTA. Oh, and gigabit internet.
