Don't want to be stereotyped? Then don't cover your body with a bunch of stupid looking tattoos.
Yes, most people who don't have tattoos think you look ridiculous.
See and there is my point.
I work in a very high profile arena, I am outside of the norm when it comes to appearance at my job, ie, one in 5000 if not more. I however, do not look at the people around me who choose not to get tattoos and say "Wow you ignorant tools, you do not have tattoos, therefore you must lack the ability to express yourself" Nope, I don't because its a personal choice. One that people from many varied walks of life choose. So, tell me Im white trash, tell me im low class, whatever. I am not the loser this time.
You will be when you don't get that job you wanted because you just don't fit in with the image the corporation considering hiring you wants to project.
Like it or not, these things do make a difference and people do judge you by your appearance. Whether it's right to do that is a moot point.
No, what's actually 'right' is the ONLY thing that really matters. Ever. In anything.
Lofty goal but that is not reality. Never has been and probably never will be.
Reality too, is largely what you make it.
