34 miles this week. Getting the itch to go for another marathon this spring, but between family and work, I don't have the time to train properly...

+6. Changed it up a bit tonight. Left at dusk and ran on the rail trail in the almost dark. It was amazing, like a completely different place. I will do this again soon.

Another 6 miles tonight, this time on trails in the moonlight with my eldest. Freaking awesome. We averaged 8:30min/mile, not bad for trails, really not bad for trails in the dark with no headlamp. But the joy of the run was overshadowed by news that my father was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and will not make it. No timeline given. Here it is - another holiday season down the shitter.

sorry to here about your dad, Megatomic. My father-in-law passed not too long ago from prostate cancer. I hope whatever he has doesn't give him too much pain.

You're putting up good numbers Manchimp, keep up the solid work. And thanks. I know that my father is in a lot of pain right now, he's not well at all. Hopefully the radiation therapy will alleviate the size of the tumor that causing all the discomfort.

8 frosty miles on the trails this morning. My fingertips hurt from the cold still, but it was a great run nonetheless.

Have I really not posted since October 2nd? God, work sucks. November was by far the worst month I have had in years. Averaged maybe 25mpw. Hard to find time when you're working 80 hours a week. Luckily, that seems to be over and I'm back to trying to train pretty hard again. Add 189 miles to the total for me.

By the way, Mega, I'm very sorry to hear about your father. I know nothing I say can help but you will be in my thoughts.
