We took buses out to Hopkinton and ran the course back to BC for 21 miles. Thought the Newton Hills that start at mile 17 would be the end of me but there was a water startion right before the hills that I refueled and re-engerized that made the final four miles no issue. Nice thing was knowing that so many people are out on the course, many towns had police officers handling traffic to keep us going and in Newton they closed a lane of the road(course) from traffic to make our lives easier.

+13.1 miles.

Ran the Rock Cystic Fibrosis Rivers Half Marathon. The course follows the Detroit River on Grosse Ile you can see the Detroit skyline and all the beautiful homes, I run it regularly for training. Smashed my old PR by abour 5 minutes. Unofficial time was 1:57:02 so I broke the two hour barrier as well. Now all attention will be on my 50 miler in 27 days.

Oh and they've got easily one of the best shirts ever for a race.

Great job, Trauma! A new PR and busting down the 2:00 barrier! Nice!

Also, cool to hear Capt. Caveman's reports of the run-up to Boston. It's making me excited to be there in 2015.

+20 over the weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun), including 5 with the middle daughter and 10 pain-free miles on Sunday. Hopefully, my left hamstring is finally healed up.

+28 yesterday. I finally got a chance to unofficially run my February marathon, which got canceled by the organizers at the last minute due to weather. They sent out the shirts and medals to everyone registered, so I figured if I want to display the medal with my 'earned' ones, I need to do the miles.

10 miles today. Running a 5k for a charity in the morning, trying to decide if I should just jog it or run.

7.4 miles this morning. I did not enjoy running in my Virratas, I will stick to my Hokas from now on.
