I have a GeForce4 MX and had the same problem with texture corruption... I needed to install a patch so that the game would work ok (I think it's a known issue with NVidia cards). But honestly I have no clue where to get it, since it was a friend who sent it to me. Try looking around in sites...
That's what I usually try to do, but sometimes I forget and it becomes a little bit anoying to be scanning for new hardware everytime... Well, thanks anyway!

Hi!
Is there any way I can force Windows XP to believe this device is always present? The problem is that when I boot up with the modem turned off, when I try to connect Windows thinks the modem is not there... It's a USR Serial modem by the way.
Thx,
Zaskar
The cable is home made...
I've just tried installing Linux on this computer (the one with WinXP) and it works just fine, so it definitly is OS related... I think I can safely rule out the possibility of the cable.
I would like to try usind a switch or a hub between them, but I don't have...
Well, that didn't do the trick... Still mad slow! I think the drivers switch to half-duplex automaticaly, because I tried forcing full-duplex and it didn't work as it should... Any other ideas?
Thx
Hi!
I'm using two SiS900 based network cards linked with a crossover cable. One of the systems uses Win98 & Linux and the other one uses WinXP. When I try to transfer files accross the network I get really low speeds (sometimes even lower than 10MBps eventhough the cards are connected at...
Hello!
I'm using Windows 2000 Professional with several different user accounts. My problem is that I want to be able to change a certain user's screen resolution without it affecting others! With Windows 98 I had no problems doing this... I just had to logon with that user, change the setting...
I just managed to solve the problem... the stupid heatsink clip makes a lot more of strength on one of the sides, so the heatsink was not making full contact on one of the sides of the core. I believe the reason it was even working is that I used some thermal paste.
The CPU is now working at a...
I had my heatsink a little tilted (it only made contact on one of the side of the core) with some thermal paste. I believe the thermal paste was the only reason the CPU was even stable! It went all the way up to 58ºC... If I had none I doubt it would even boot!

If the motherboard supports Pentium 3 CPU's then it also supports Celeron II's. If this is the case you probably have a dead CPU. I bought one that was also dead, some time ago, and the system wouldn't even give erros beeps. It just started up the heatsink's fan and sit there.

Yeap...
The 6.31 drivers did the trick. Windows now boots on TV. The only thing is it boots using NTSC format and I have a PAL TV. The image quality sucks on my TV, but it's enough to be able to go to the settings and change it to PAL.
There's another small problem with 6.31 drivers... I'm not...
I am using thermal paste... however I got the feeling the cooler isn't sitting very well on top of the core (if I push it slightly on one of the sides it moves). Is a golden orb a good heat sink for use with FC-PGA CPUs?
I recently bought a GeForce 2MX with TV-Output (MSI Starforce 818). However I'm having some problems with the TV output. I previously owned a ATI Rage 128 and if I connected it only to the TV display, Windows would boot normally and automatically switch TV-Out on. With my GeForce I can't do...
Hi!
I have a Celeron II 600 overclocked to 750... I'm wondering what a normal temperature would be for an overclocked Intel CPU. The max temperature I saw mine hit was about 56ºC/132ºF. Is this ok, or should I consider buying a better cooler?
