XP is a good OS (by MS standards), far more stable than the MS ones I've used before. You could try using linux, personally i'm w8in 4 the latest Star Office 2 come out before i switch 2 linux. there's a company i no which distributes a copy of linux and all the freeware that comes with it...

or if ur really stuck, change the slave back 2 master and email all ur emails 2 urself.

don't use the internet between 6:10 and midnight! only jokin, v strange ..... u haven't got ne auto-disconnects have u ? (sounds stupid, but u never no!) or try gettin an up2date virus scanner, u may have been infected (tho i've never heard of a virus like that!?!?!?) as i say , v strange...

as a sub-note, is the '/s' (make system disk) still supported in XP ? I've tried it but can't get newhere.

i used 2 use mIRC under Win ME which ran fine. I went off it 4 a while and now am usin it again under XP but it seams 2 take ages 2 log onto the irc server, ne1 wiv ne ideas y ?
