New Puter but lost my mail?

Built a new puter. Went from W98 using Outlook for mail to W XP Pro also using Outlook. Hooked up old drive as a slave so everything could be transferred to a new master drive under W XP. Transferred Address book fine but can't find where the mail is on the old drive. Any idea where to look?

The easiest way I have to found to get your old mail is to actually go into Outlook and highlight and drag the messages out into a folder. Then you can burn them onto a disk and transfer them.

What is the name of the folder and path? I think I'd be home free if I had that.

search for outlook.pst file and archive.pst file.

or if ur really stuck, change the slave back 2 master and email all ur emails 2 urself.
