Realize motherboards vary in the temperatures that they return. If you have the same exact motherboard, or monitering chipset, than you can compare temps. Temps on different mobo's mean different things. Thats still a pretty good temp though. I don't see how you could get a temp that low...

I'd say that the toshiba is probably a better drive, but that slot load factor makes the pioneer so appealing. Its a fad, but hey it looks cool.
