I live in Texas and as a lad one of my favorite pets was the gentle Horned Toad,I don't know the scientific name?:) The Horned Toad was/is the mascot of TCU University,I have not seen one in many many years,one of the state agencies put out a sightings alert long ago but I never heard any more...
