Don't forget that in the future you might not be able to play al games with a TI4200. For example you won't be able to play Battlefield 2 with a ti4200 bcause you need a DX9 card.

Hey might have DX9 software installed but the gam doesn't run in DX9 on his ti4200, simply because that card even render DX9 effects. So on that card the game is running in DX8 or even DX7 mode.

A x800(vanilla) is faster than a 6600gt en also fasten then a 9700 pro.

Somehow i get the feeling that you really don't get it. A high end videocard is $400-$500 and then you only got a graphics card, a Xbox 360 is $300-$400 and is a complete console. Get the point now?

Once gamedevelopers start to really utilize al the power of the playstation 3(wich they can't do with pc because all pc's are different) i'm positive that will look better then any game with G70 in SLI.

I still think people are forgetting a few very important things when they compare the nex gen consoles to the pc. One is that a pc is NOT the ultimate gaming device. There are a lot of games that are released for the consoles that aren't released for the pc. And that's a huge number of games...

Nope because now you forget three things: one the Playstation 3 has the Cell processor witch is way more powerfull then anything available for the pc. And two hardware in a console in the end is much more effective then in a pc, because gamedevelopers can utilise (after a litle while) about 90%...
