Any idea what the equivalent PCI-e card is now to my BBA 9700Pro AGP card?

6600gt is overall much better

though sometimes or more it may loose to radeon 9800pro

but overall would you not buy 6600gt 128mb compared to 256mb radeon 9800xt even if the xt was 10$ cheaper though it isn't

ati equivalent ,128mb X700pro shd give better performance
and X600XT ,ask others, but may loose

x800 vanilla for 200 will blow away the 6600gt and x700pro.

x700pro wil give you pretty much the same performance for around 140?

6600GT is not a slightly better performer...it stomps the 9700pro...the 6600GT even beats the 9800XT except on high resolution where its 128bit interface hinders its performance

x700pro is quite a bit slower than the GT except in HL2 and maybe NFSU2

the 6600GT beats the 9800pro in all benchmarks even in HL2 which is heavily ATI-favoured
