Of course not, they just list them for sale at NewEgg for kicks, that and server motherboards, server memory, chassis, enterprise HDDs etcLmao man, no one DIYs server parts. Get real.
oh btw - LIAR!

It's Medusa lmao
So no major raster improvements but supports FSR4?interesting. how reliable is IT Home ?
IT Home noted that multiple sources had previously mentioned that the GPU on AMD's "Zen 6" microarchitecture processor "Medusa Point" was "RDNA 3.5+ supporting FSR 4"

m-ithome-com.translate.goog
8CU GPU will never, ever run FSR4 at acceptable rates. So no major raster improvements but supports FSR4?
Oh forgot it’s 8CU.8CU GPU will never, ever run FSR4 at acceptable rates.
FP8 compat is mostly for ROCm duties.
Except Mark.Lmao man, no one DIYs server parts. Get real.
Pretty sure he buys servers too.Except Mark.
Depends what you are after.Lmao man, no one DIYs server parts. Get real.
There are normal WS mobos for TR's (especially WRX ones) too.I've heard horror stories about failing Threadripper mobos, so I imagine anyone else who had heard this and wants one might go for an Epyc mobo/CPU instead.
Are you saying it's only a certain type of TR mobo that is failing? There are normal WS mobos for TR's (especially WRX ones) too.
I don't remember why I stopped following SemiAnalysis but the things I'm seeing now triple reinforce my original decision.Yesterday, SemiAnalysis thought the hole they got themselves in was not deep enough and decided to keep digging.
Yea
It's dolan, he is absolutely fuming and trying to outpoast AMD on xitter.Reading that post feels like watching a grown kid having a tantrum.
Yeah, AMD doesn't disable L3 stops.I wonder if they will retain the full 48MB of L3 on the 6 enabled core CCDs?

this ain't his staff, this is dolan himself poasting thru it.I remember at one point, Dylan said he rewards his staffers for generating "engagement". They surely got some "engagement" recently.
Apparently AMD’s refuting any issues or delays with N2 products, specifically MI4XX products, directly contradicts a report Dylan (or staff) recently delivered to clients as part of his consultation business. So he’s not just fighting for internet rep, he’s trying to save face with clients.

That’s probably his end-game. You can make way more money running a VC fund than selling subscriptions to a Substack or whatever. As for conflicts of interest, who’s gonna stop him? The non-existent SEC?apparently Dylan is starting a VC fund. huge conflicts of Interest here as an analyst
Thanks for the correction.rumour is that AM5 socket will continue until zen 7
... and I think that the frequency of CPU generations (as well as the relative performance increase from one generation to another) is ALSO likely to slow down.If you upgrade so infrequently, then even with extreme longevity of AMD platform, you will rarely get an opportunity to do CPU only upgrade. So, it really doesn't need to be a concern for you.
I tend to have a similar strategy, waiting for 2x CPU performance to upgrade, and I just happened to get Zen 4 (7800x3d), and in my case, CPU only upgrade to Zen 6 (or even Zen 7) will be quite an attractive proposition.
Six core is intriguing
