With pipelining they can absolutely achieve 1 baby per month rate.

Yeah, if we just keep the pipeline prefed with babies 1 month from delivery and apply branch prediction, we can have babies in 1 month when we want them.

You can achieve better than one baby per mother per cycle. With advanced equipment, you can easily achieve more than 12 babies a year with fewer than 9 mothers.
