I'm getting 59.3ns in AIda64 @ 6200MT/s memoryspeed and 2200mhz FCLK.
That seems like a great figure for the latency. Is there any indication anywhere that Zen 4 can do more than 6200 MT/s? Per AT's review, going above 3000 MHz for the memory controller is not a guarantee. You are already doing 3100 MHz I presume? To go any higher, you will need to drop the mem controller down to half speed.

Results from just flipping EXPO 6000CL30 profile on, enabling low latency mode, enabling high bandwidth mode. I checked the numbers against the latest Aida and they match so the old version is accurate.

Is it stable ? can you share ryzen master data together with it, so i can look at settings ?

Ì'm confused, I thought AMD said it was impossible to do X:1:1 above 6000 because it would automatically cut the divisor by half?
Thats just autorule, you can force it 1:1

I only got two memtest86 passes done (new V10 with the DMA test enabled) but it seems like it. My plan today is to get aida figures and timings for all permutations of the two modes to see what exactly it's doing.

Any other X670E Taichi users not have sleep mode available? Mine disappeared on the Windows 11 install I transferred. Reinstalled all drivers and tried the usual fixes online, still not available. I might try a fresh install next.

So after a zillion boots, I decided to flash back to the latest approved bios. Now it won't even post.
OK< It absolutely will not post using the 6600 memory, even at bios defaults. Put back the 6000, that only runs 5600 speed. Ordered 32 gig of 6000 cl30 EXPO memory. Comes next Wednesday.

Try tighter timings at 5600. Maybe you could hit CL28.
Its only rated at 32. After exchanging it for 2 32 gig sets of EXPO, I am only out 30 bucks. 6000 cl30.

The 6600 I bought too long ago to return, so I will have to sell that, but at a loss.

If your up for it, you can try these drives strengths timings marked in red:

I have also had my share of problems with my corsair 6600MT/s CL32 memory..
Also just found out that i have been using too high VDDP voltage whole day, 1150mv and above were causing me problems.

Need to/its recommended to sync Vddio, Vdd and Vddq voltages (Vddio does it automatically on auto)
(Vddio is memory controller, Vdd and Vddq are pmic voltages on memory sticks)

Prices for MSI B650 boards were leaked. Prices are better, not sure how the specs compare to the X670 though. And still much higher than B550.

Yeah, not much difference compared to X670 boards, but then again, MSI X670 were the most expensive of the bunch, so maybe B650 from other manufacturers will be cheaper. Otherwise, I think Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite is probably the best balance of features vs price IMO.

Asus makes some of the best motherboards and some of the worst software. Armoury Crate is clunky, bloated, and far from performant. Asus must farm their software out to the cheapest contract they can find. There is no way I'm using it to get custom lighting on my motherboard. I've simply turned most of it off. The Matrix LED display over the IO looks kind of gimmicky anyway. The center OLED works without the software. The only thing I wish I could have is the Auroa LED surround lighting around the leading edge of the motherboard. I can live without it if it means not having to subject my OS to Asus software. Had it installed. It was a 1 and 1/2 hour process to remove all remnants of it. Asus doesn't believe in uninstalls that actually work. Fortunately, my Corsair Dominator DDR5 memory store the color settings on the module itself. No software needed after initial configurations in Corsair iCue.

I love having an easy to open hinged side panel.

I managed to get the unreleased 0703 BIOS for the Crosshair Extreme from someone on Overclock.net today. Been testing my Corsair Dominator Platinum 6200 memory with it. DDR5 6000 is currently stable with average timings using Prime95 512K+ FFT no AVX torture testing. 34-38-38-72 with tweaked sub-timings. CL32 is a no go. Will error within 4 hours. CL34 went for 8 hours so far.

The sub-timings do translate to what I was accustomed to with Intel. Wording is a bit different. Not going too crazy with them. Just going to do a middle ground from what I did with Intel and the JEDEC default I see in the BIOS.

Played with fan curves in the Asus BIOS. Default is of course too deafening at load. Went with all fans at 70% at 95 degrees, 60% at 80 degrees, and 50% at 20 degrees. Tied to the CPU. Much more tolerable.

I have precision boost overdrive enabled. Gives me a few hundred more points in Cinebench R20.

FCLK seems stable at 2100MHz. Tried 2200MHz. It seemed to run fine, but benchmark scores went down. Perhaps there is error correction overhead on an unstable clock. Going to test 2100MHz further.

Ended up buying a 4TB Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus (PCIE 4.0) SSD. I figure I will use that as a stop gap until decent PCIE 5 SSDs roll out. Then it will become my secondary (Steam and Video) drive.

Hopefully my motherboard ships on time.

Sorry to hear that. I have had issues with memory compatibility on Ryzen numerous times. I am just hoping the kit I ordered works. The exact SKU isn’t on QVL. Of course, I may have to return it if the mini ITX board is delayed again.

I feel those of us wanting 64gb EXPO kits have really been left out.

EDIT: Fix typo. 😉
