I know its early, but as someone pointed out, I better get my ram now before the scalpers are all over it.

To go with a 7950x, what do you think of this ram:

My favorite the last few months is complaints about temps. Turns out the ambient room temp is 30c plus.

I actually did have a small issue, which appears to be fixed. I kept having F@H GPU units failing. But I turned off the auto-overclock of memory using EXP (or AMDs version of it) to 6000 speed and now its flawless @4800. I have NOT done bios updates since I bought it, and that could have been the reason, but I think this backs up what @DAPUNISHER nisher is saying.

In rare cases XMP or EXPO can be unstable. Could be bad DIMM.

I did a bios update after a long time on the MSI X670E Tomahawk to the latest beta bios and it finally fixed the warm reboot POST failure, which was happening 50% of the time on the March 2025 bios I had before. I had the exact same issue with the 7800X3D on this board for a long time until a bios update fixed it eventually.

I use stock expo settings with the CL30 6000 memory, this problem is apparently expo related but things were always fine after POST.
