why are we holding back on our Daisy Cutters?
Since our official reason (NOW - constantly shifting. Check back next week and it may change) is to liberate the Iraqi people and spread democracy, it would look rather interesting blowing the hell out of them all, now wouldn't it.
As far as the OP, doesn't suprise me.
We need to drop them on wherever there are terrorists in big groups. In no way should they ever be dropped on innocent civilians who live their regular everyday lives like you and me. I want the Iraqi people to live in freedom and participate in the upcoming elections. The terrorists want to prevent the elections from even taking place
Big groups spread to every location in Iraq. Spread out among the everyday people.
We know where they are. Usually when there is big battle, its usually the terrorists vs US military and the civilians are not in that area. Many people leave if they know an upcoming battle is about to occur.
So instead of fighting these terrorists from the ground, which leads to US casualties, why not drop the Daisy Cutters on them. Of course, you cant drop bombs in all situations, but in certain ones you can.
And, as I pointed out in another thread, destroy the entire town(s) of the people around. Destroy all they have and create new insurgents in the process. Bombing the people does one of two things: Brings fear or creates hate (or both). One of those catch 22 situations.
If killing terrorists create more terrorists, then why kill terrorists in the first place?
Why not invite them to a picnic and offer our finest cheeses and wines?
Not sure. Wonder why Al Qaeda has doubled (estimated) or more since we invaded Iraq?
hmm actually a lot of al qaeda leadership has been killed. but they'll find new leaders, so we'll have to kill them too. Some people, not sure if you feel this way, want to sit down with these terrorists. Thats totally insane.
You dont sit down with people who want to kill your children and convert you to their religion. You destroy them.
You say that while the terrorists are thinking we have to do whatever necesesary to keep GW Bush from killing our children in the name of freedom.
If that's so, why do they blow up Iraqis themselves? Why do they behead them as well?
Stop deluding yourself and attempting to delude others that the insurgency is about preventing the death of children. That's pure rhetoric bunk.
