I bet you're gonna have some kickass food at the reception, aren't ya?
As of right now everyone is getting prime rib. We are making a few exceptions for vegetarians and those who do not eat beef.
can I come? 😉

I have the same dilemma as I am definetly not one to dance. I just look at it that by the time dancing starts everyone has enough drinks in them not to give a damn. 😉Originally posted by: gotsmack
My friends are getting married on the 3rd too.
Question for you or anyone else who knows:
The info-
1. I am in the wedding party and at some point in the reception am expected to dance with someone.
2. I have never danced before- besides once unsuccessfully at a school dance in 7th grade. I don;t even know the basic "box" pattern dance that you see in movies.
3. I have looked in the phone book for local places that teach dance, only places were not the type I am interested in (there was irish, ballet, and some profession stage type of modern dance)
The question-
1. Where can I pick up a few moves real quick. It doesn't have to look good, just has to not make me look like a dufus. Maybe a website that shows positioning of the feet and how to lead would be great.
thanks in advance

Not really catered per say. We've hired a chef that I have studied under. 😛

Traditionally, yes. Taking this into consideration we went with a fairly inexpensive dress.Originally posted by: z0mb13
bridesmaids have to pay for their own dresses? that sucks.

Usually groomsmen pay for their own tuxes, but the groom will give them all a gift. Well thats the way I know it.

Gotta love weddings. Two people decide to get married so a bunch of other people have to shell out a ton of money for their 'blissful' ceremony.

We had to kick out one of my groomsmen for virtually the same thing. We asked all the groomsmen to pay for their own tuxedo rentals, which they all agreed to do. It got to be really close to wedding day and this one really good friend of mine still hadn't payed. I had asked him about it numerous times leading up to that point in time, and he said he still had intentions to pay. It came down to an ultimatum: if he didn't pay for the tuxedo by a certain day, the rental place couldn't guarantee that he would be able to get one. He missed the deadline, and I had to tell him that he couldn't be in the wedding. Apparently he got really offended, because he didn't even show up for the wedding, and our friendship is now pretty much nonexistent.
