Obligatory right wing "If you don't have anything to hide, why would you object to this?" comment.
Personally, I've always been against any type of RFID identification card. I may support the idea of "Real ID" that is valid in all states, and contains the passport information to be used in lieu of a passport, but NOT with an RFID chip in it.
Too easy to store information in them that a person may NOT WANT in it. Far too many ways this could be abused.
So you think controlling the masses is only the right wing?
LULZ @ the feeble old man.
LOL @ brainwashed little kid...
How many times during the Bush Administration were we told in reference to the domestic spying/wiretapping, "If you don't have anything to hide, why do you care?" That's just one quick example of the right wing brainwashing...IME, the "left wing" doesn't want to "control the masses," but rather, they want people to be able to do whatever they want...as long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of other people. THAT is one of the core ideals behind liberalism...Of course, some folks believe that their way of life is better than any other...and prefer to be told what to do, where and when to do it...so this idea doesn't necessarily interest them.
