Carnival Valor, western Carib for a week with the whole family. Then I might take the wife somewhere in Europe, not sure where yet, in July. I would like to go to Asia, but the darn flights are so long from Atlanta, that a week would not do it justice.

Peace

I'll take time off from work, but I won't travel. I'm content at home.

Like I said, you're dull.

Edit: I'm actually packing for my 10 day trip to the Philippines right now. I'm leaving Wednesday and I'm going to party, party, party.

Western Caribbean in March with the Girlfriend. Looking forward to it and the leaving/arriving in New Orleans

March 13-23
Las Vegas for three nights and two days of Rock Climbing in Red Rock National Park.
Then a three day, two night backpacking/camping trip in the Grand Canyon.
Then three days in Joshua Tree National Park for yet more camping and Rock Climbing!

I can't fucking wait!

GF and I know we want to go in June (already took off work) but we haven't figured out where yet. We live in the Chicago area and talked about possibly going to California, but not completely sold on that location. We need to find someplace relatively inexpensive for two people to stay a few (like 3-4) nights, but still nice. Any ideas?

16 nights in italy (rome, venice, florence) next october for a delayed honeymoon/1 year anniversary.

Also have our yearly week long camping trip in july that I take with some old college buddies of mine.

Depending on what my parents are doing possible China again. If not then probably Grand Canyon + other US sites.

May go to Cambodia in March/April and m aybe India in October if my bro qualifies for the Commonwealth Games.

I did this more when I was single, but now that I am married, I love taking vacations. We just did a 2.5 week vacation in Europe in late November/early December, so this year, it will probably be something modest in a warm place. We're looking at possibly going to an all-inclusive resort in Cozumel or something.

I don't go on vacations. I find them a complete waste of money. Why spend $3k on something that will last a week, when you can buy something for your house that will last you years?

It is never a waste of money to go to new places and have new experiences.

The wife and I just got back from France and Italy in December. You picked some good destinations.

Can i ask how old you are? Im guessing under 25. I used to be the same when younger. Toys over vacations. But now that im almost 37 id take seeing the world over anything.

going 'somewhere' in May, but don't know where yet... my friend wants to go away for her birthday. she was thinking Disney World, but I keep thinking that it'd be miserable in late may/early june with school getting out.
If there is any way to go when kids are still in school, DO IT!

You can still have a good time in Disney World when it's crowded, but it's so much nicer if you can avoid the crowds.

I had Starwood points that were going to expire, so we're going to spend 3 nights at the Westin in Hilton Head over memorial day weekend. We've never been there, but the kids had a great time just hanging out on the beach last year in Myrtle, so it should be fun.

I'm not sure yet, but we may be going on a Caribbean cruise in December for my mom's 60th birthday.
