Jesus Christ.....you guys always harkening back to the days of old instead of what is in right of front of you.......fucking boomers.....
Man. Boomer or not most people learn that other people might not be interested in the same things as them at a fairly early age!

It's called multi tasking, stick the video on a 2nd/3rd monitor and carry on working while it plays out.

I don't understand how people do this. I'm either watching the video and taking in what it's trying to communicate, or I'm not. I can context switch perfectly well, but that would mean I'm missing the parts of the video I wasn't focusing on.

I listen to music & read a book at the same time too, you'd hate me lol. I am High Functioning Autistic so I do have a brain capable of taking multiple inputs and splitting them into legible components.

I can have music on as background music (often to try and lube my brain through an arduous process like doing my business admin work), but that's about it.

I'm young enough to know that places like this aren't were I go to get good info when it comes to tech.
Yes, evidently you've come here for an argument, and since most of us don't have a "side" in this beef, you decided to go on the offensive anyway.
Yeah, but then you get to watch the video AND waste time commenting on said video! Two birds for the price of one!
I think I've made maybe a handful of comments on YT videos, it's not really my bag.
No, wrong take: the point isn't blame. The point is that people are going to respond to public criticism how they always do: defensively. GN's video was a public call-out video over a multitude of technical inaccuracies & sketchy business practices; if GN expected his target to magically straighten up & fly right, well...good luck lol.
It's not always the case, look at Tom Scott for example.

WTF are you talking about here? Where were people in this thread harkening back to days of old?

I've watched some of the Gamers Nexus reviews of pre-built "gaming" computers in the past, so the video of 'What's Wrong with LTT' or whatever showed up in my Recommended list. I didn't watch it.

Then a video response from LTT showed up. I didn't watch it.

Then a response from GN to LTT's response to the original video showed up. I didn't watch it. I marked all three of them as 'Do not like.'

I figured the petty bickering was pretty low and pointless. Then I saw this thread and it got even lower and more pointless. So congratulations, y'all are more vapid than an LTT video! ;)

Somehow completely missed the LTT train despite loving PC building and Youtube. Not sure how that happened.

Oh no, I meant wasting time by posting on ATOT lol. We can multi-slack by watching long criticism videos & then complain about them online, two for the price of one, haha!

Youtube comments are the cesspool of humanity.

I can just skip the videos and complain about people over-reacting when I don't watch the video, yet have the gall to comment anyway :p

Supposedly I'm a millennial but I'm 40 now so to anyone under 25 I'm a boomer.
You are but the older millenials seem to be on par with gen x. It's middle and younger millenials that need a swift kick up the arse.

I get a bunch of older Gen Z/younger millenials thinking I'm in their age group, which is what particularly amuses me about being called a boomer here.
