Still, I'm a little partial to this one. Maybe that's just 'cause I have the title for it though.

Oh yes, the ugly porsche series. So you bascially bought a shell for $500.
You mean there's a non-ugly porsche series??
Oh no you didn't! The 959 was the best looking Porsche ever.
The previous owner did them. I haven't done too much with it (aside from scaring the living sh!t out of myself the first time I took it out on a track and found it had just a few differences in handling from the 924S). I wasn't sold on the black wheels at first, but they looked a lot better in person. It's just heartbreaking to have it sitting back home in Ohio while I wait to get a place with a garage. At least I know that my father is enjoying taking care of it. He gets to have a "mid-life crisis car" for a while until I have a place out here for it to live.Originally posted by: NutBucket
Looks good with the black wheels. Paint 'em yourself?Originally posted by: Zenmervolt

He did - the board's most (well, second most) persistent nihilist jerk has struck again. It should've been obvious to you that this car is uglier than EA's '85 Tempo (just as, on his planet, Hudson Hawk rocks The Godfather's world).

Explain to them about the mysteriously missing decimal point in your original $5.00 bid, then tell them that you're only 13 years old and can't enter into legally binding contracts anyway.Originally posted by: TheGoodGuy

If either of the above gambits fail, just start crowing like a rooster and attempting to peck them. Strut around a lot in a wildly exaggerated way. Then ask for their daughter's phone number. Extra points if she's 8.

LMAO
Honestly, that's only worth about $7,000. It's within reach as a "weekend" car for a family man with a good job like yourself. Maybe not right now with skoorbaby, but in a few years sure. That's what I like about the 944 series, it's affordable and reliable if taken care of.Originally posted by: Skoorb
Nice looking car, ZV. I always think that if I was single I'd buy something like that...a slightly older sports car with some character to it.
