<< All of a sudden the Iranian Foriegn Exchange Students Disapeared along with all those nasty little black pubic hairs floating around in Hot Tubs and Jacuzzi's across our great nation. >>

Very stupid, but kinda funny. It must have taken you a while to figure that out.

Take out early warning radars with Apache AH-64.
TLAM missiles against some targets.
F-117 (which will opearte with virtual impunity) strikes against command centers, electrical nodes, and fiberoptic network.

After the suprression of most vital centers, main force will enter, which will include over a 1000 of most advanced fighers, bombers, AWAC and jammers. Iran air force will be decimated within a few days.

Total air superiority in a week, including low attitude flights. That's when B52's will mop up :)

Iran statements are laughable. Remember, Iraq, at one point of time, had military that was considered 6th strongest in the world.

If the war against Iraq was the "Mother of All Battles," what will the Iranians call this one? :D

The illegitimate stepsister of all battles?

Oh come on now fellas. They could probably hold their own. For four or five minutes.

It's about time for Pentbomb to tell us how JHU thinks it's going to take us months or years to control this country. I haven't heard a peep from him since about the first week of December. I'm sure glad the hydo dynamics lab (David Taylor) at JHU is better than the International studies group or all our submarines would sound like busted chain saws.

Actually, the 4th.

<< The younger generation of Iran is so pro-United States that they probably wouldn't even fight. >>

You are right. And if Bush didn't say that stupid "axis of evil" sh!t, the moderates in Iran wouldn't be so upset right now. People have pride, and when somebody generalizes a whole nation, people will naturally go on the defensive.

The elected president of Iran (along with 70% of the people in Iran that elected him) really wants better relations with the US but their hands are tied. Sadly, the extremists still holds the most power.

You're wrong. He specifically mentioned the 'few unelected' who rule the country. he was talking about the ayatollahs. The Iranians know exactly who we're talking about. Bush was not generalizing. When governments talk, they talk about other governments, not the people in the country.

Correction...the Iranians *should* know who we're talking about but their news is so filtered, it'll never hit them

I'd be more worried about terrorist attacks on civilians than any military threats. Baghad was once the most heavily defended (against air) city in the world. In minutes F-117s took out there central radar stations, power plants, their entire infrastructure. I'd rather be an Air Force Pilot right now than live in NYC; I'd feel much safer.

heh, if you read the f-16 page on their site, it doesn't sound like they have f-16's, just that they ordered them in the 70's but canceled the order. the f-16's were then sold to israel instead. :)

<<IIAF purchases 160 F-16A on October 27th 1976 with follow up order of additional 140, A total of 300 aircraft. Parts and maintenance equipment has arrived in Iran as early as 1978 and ground personnel had been given training, (Ground support equipment was later sold to Pakistan). However, new Government cancelled the order in 1979 before the schedule arrival of the first two F-16, later this cancellation effected the unit cost of each aircraft to a much higher price tag. But General Dynamics found a new buyer for Iranian F-16's, which was Israel's air force. >>

chiwawa626, during that time I lived in an Apartment Complex that had a lot of Iranian Foriegn Exchange Students. They use to congregate down at the Hot Tub. In fact anywhere there was a Hot Tub or Jacuzzi back then it was a place where they hung out. Of course there was a lot of body hair which was always floating around in the Jacuzzi's and Hot Tubs. When they all left the Hot Tubs and Jacuzzi's all cleared up. Of course the local sales of Gold Medallions and Open Neck Silk Disco Shirts plummeted.

BTW, no offense meant my Farsi Brother!

Ah hell LG, if it's the truth then how can it be ignorant? Besides, compared to what they say about us it's rather mild. I'm talking about Iranians, not Americans of Persian Descent.

Good for Iran. They're gonna need a hell of a lot more than they've got.

We've got a Republican in the White House now, not some Cigar-Smoking wanna-be hippy who couldn't keep his hands off a chubby college intern. Reagan's words brought Iran to their knees. Bush is liable to use more than words, and I say godspeed.

As gunfighter mentioned earlier, our european can't seem to learn from their past. they would rather negotiate with the devil than destroy it. I'm glad I'm an American. We, unlike our sissy friends across the pond, can see people and governments for what they really are. The Euro p***ies think they're so smart and so above everyone else that we can negotiate with these terrorists/animals. well, we can't and they're preying on the Euro sissies nieveness to attack us. Glad we have a true american in the white house, to defend us from the real evils of the world.
