Are we going to go ahead and discount results that NASA puts out that don't make an immediate impact in your life? Like winglets?Yes I can? NASA is the most wasteful organization on(and off) the planet. The science has nothing to do with it.
That is interesting, every time I think of a moon colony I picture some futuristic dome. Going underground would make more sense.
Well, water means one more thing:
"We're whalers on the moon...."![]()
No, you can't.
NASA is all about science and the further advancement of science. You can claim they are wasteful, but that doesn't change the previous statement.
"there is no dark side of the moon, really. matter of fact it's all dark..."what's on the dark side of the moon?
when's the last time you had a good cry?Science is advanced in order to help society. NASA spends billions of dollars launching junk into space just to find water on the moon or another planet, which helps nobody and in no way advances science. How about we spend the same amount of money developing a means to get clean water to countries right here on earth that don't have it? Why waste our time trying to locate intelligent life in space at the cost of ignoring the life here on earth? NASA isn't about science or advancement.

His mother never told him she loved him either.when's the last time you had a good cry?
she was about to, then he said, "what's the use of telling me you love me anyway? makes me feel all good and stuff... what a waste! LOVE IS A WASTE"His mother never told him she loved him either.![]()

There's only limited benefit now, but there will be huge benefits in time. The Science of the Future will be built upon the Science of today, without the Foundation you can't build a House. Or in this case, Affordable Stellar Travel, Colonies, etc.
I understand that science of tomorrow is built on science of today, and there are expenditures involved. But NASA spends more money than anyone with little return. They were ahead of their time, we aren't anywhere near ready for space.
Space exploration is expensive. You want the benefits, then you pay the price.
you can't be one and not the other.
