Wether a 2.06 is bad depends on the OP's school and major.
Nah, it's pretty much always bad.
Even at an Ivy League school?

Five years out of school and no one will ever care or ask about your GPA (and yes that includes grad school). It may take a year longer to get there but it's the piece of paper that counts. Social networking/connections will beat a GPA every day.

I know, I do need to study. I'm sort of proud to pull down C's while spending an average of maybe 10-15 minutes a day total on homework/studying in ALL MY CLASSES COMBINED. But, I need to do better...sure a 2.5 GPA is enough to let me transfer to most universities...but I'd like to do better![]()

Damn, and to think I was getting pissed because my GPA might dip below 3.8 this semester....

I spend 0 time outside of class studying/homework... My GPA is 3.2. How do I do this? I never study, it's against my rules. I write papers for the class in the class. I do type them outside of class though. My GPA is going up this semester, I have straight As.
Oh, and if you're going to a CC... you need a 3.0 to transfer to most universities.

Actually they do. 2 quarters with a below 2.00 cumulative GPA = suspension. Once I make up my last 2 F's, I will easily have at least a 2.5 or higher.

I just looked up 2 universities in my state, and both said a 2.0.
