oh man... this is getting nowhere. im gonna stop replying in this thread now. let me say this though, before you form an opinion no this, think about the difference of culture issue. im more korean than american, as with everyone else involved in this incidient. that has alot to do with what i did. and also, i asked my two educated, successful and grownup korean mentors whether they agreed with my decision, and they concurred

we are not ignorant, just trying to get the big picture, and you are leaving out all the important parts, or so you say.

.............ahhhh Korean (just refreshed) If you felt that it was an honorable thing to do at the time, why did you ask elders if it was the correct decision for the circumstance? You must of been in doubt..........no?

You shouldn't have posted your original thread, nor this one. You're just drawing attention to yourself, and if you cannot or will not provide any detail, you're just going to be endlessly lambasted and you can't even explain your position. You should follow your own advice and just duck out of this thread and maybe edit the subject to something like "LOCK ME PLEASE."
 
What most of you don't seem to understand, or care about is that she was sleeping with someone else's spouse, and messing with someone else's life! It sounds like the other woman tried to get her to end it, and she didn't. IMO she got what was comming to her.

If it had been a MAN beating on her, I'd say JUMP in and stop it. But this was another woman, and a woman wronged!

I have been in a simalair situation.

I got involved with a married woman and ended it partialy because if he had caught me and beat me to within an inch of my life, I had it comming! If he had KILLED me, I think he would have been within his rights to do so!

It's a BAD situation to be in. But when you DO get into that kind of situation you KNOW it's WRONG and you take your chances!!

I've never done it since, and I'll NEVER do it again!!

If he HAD gotten involved, he would have in some way's been just as wrong as she was. And to add to the problem, she would have probably been deported. So all in all I think she got off lightly!!

I would think with your time away from here you could have composed a 500 word composition explaining your actions in a sincere and concise manner.

If your asking for others to understand your actions you will have to explain your reasons by something more than saying it's a culture thing.
 
I wouldnt have banned you for that. I think rather you should get beaten up for 20 minutes. Make you scream for help, I would think if your roomate was crawling on the floor, she got the picture. Besides it wasnt completely your roomates fault, it was the other guys also. Your a Dirtbag, and I would hate to be one of your friends.

While I can appreciate your point, no friend of mine is going to be beat upon if I can help it. I don't care if they are right, wrong, or somewhere inbetween..........they can solve it in court, or by other means, but, I'm not allowing a friend to be beat down ESPECIALLY not a woman! Perhaps I'm wrong, or to loyal to my friends, but, that's the way it's always been and always will be..............

Yup, and don't you think his wife is making him pay for it to, in her own way!!

He should get a beating to, but sometimes women can punish a guy in better ways and never lay a hand on him...

Someone should take some of their own advice. First this all started with a thread you voluntarily posted, leaving out information that you volunteer later once people speak their opinion. If you weren't happy with the original set of responses, why bother with the "I'm back!" announcement?

What's your point in the post? What do you want to get out of this? What do you want to hear?

I'm leaning in the direction of calling you an 'attention whore' but I'm not there... yet.
 
It sounds like this was going on for over a year.
It sounds like the other woman TRIED other means to get her to end it. And several times!
That she finally decided to confront her is not supprizing.

It sounds like Gunrush made a judgement call to stay out of it.

Though I don't know if I could have stood there and done nothing while this woman took her lumps, it was HIS call and I for one will not judge him for it!

the wife was suicidal. id rather see someone being beat up than someone comming suicide
