Was thinking about getting that Hauppauge WinTV850 at Circuit City, it sold out within 50 miles before 8 AM. Nothing really worth buying this year, a friend told me he got a 60 inch Samsung DLP for $1200.

I bought a Garmin earlier this year (Nuvi 200) for $99 when it was on special at Best Buy - best $100 I have spent all year long! As for the TV...well...say it'll look better in the kitchen and go out together to find a nicer one.
I had a blast spending time with friends, cracking jokes, drinking hot chocolate, and sharing stories with people. I went with one friend who spent $0, but came along to share in the enjoyment and help us rack up loot for the group. All this, despite the mid-20F temperatures and light wind!
Walked out of Best Buy at 5:17am with the LG Blu-ray drive ($99), SanDisk 8GB jump drive ($20), Transformers, I am Legend, and 21 on Blu-ray. Also picked up the WD 320GB Passport Elite disk ($99), which I'm currently using as I type to make a Time Machine backup of my MacBook. I spent about $270 after taxes, which isn't bad. I'm very happy and after a breakfast at my local IHOP, I'm ready for TV and bed.
Night y'all!
People called me stupid for waiting in line @ bbuy and wanting that LG BRD drive.

I did my standard "Buy everything a week ahead of time, then wander into Best Buy after the lines are gone and price match the deals at the customer service desk." As long as you go to the customer service counter while the sale is going on, they can do a return/rebuy for you (you don't even need to bring in the product or reciept if you used your Best Buy card).
Got the Xbox 360 + 4 games deal, Logitech MX mouse for $59, and a Sony Camera.
You got lucky. The ad even said no price matching on the BF08 sales items. The CSMs should've put the brakes on your plan.

Is this good or bad? I don't want anything. I looked at every single BF sales ad and found nothing worth spending anything on.
When I was younger I wanted a lot but had nothing. Now the tables are turned.
What cruel irony ...

That's because you didn't have to wait in line; Frys.com has it for $89.99 with free in-store pickup, or cheap shipping (and no sales tax in any state except AZ, CA, GA, OH, TX, NV,WA, IL and IN).
Newegg had the same drive for $99.99 shipped free as well.
