You've said nothing in this thread I have not said in Android threads and been labeled a "troll" for it. Sorry for my comment, but it's kind of difficult not to assume your reply was directed at me being you were, you know, quoting my post.

Its not a big deal but you know me well enough to know that if I was seriously calling you a troll, I would have just said it. I'm trying to focus on not insulting people personally because of their cell phone preferences.

Even if we rarely (ever?) agree on anything, I am trying my damndest not to attack you or anyone for that matter, personally. After all...its only cell phones we're talking about right?

But now that I think about it....you like Apple and you do work for Microsoft. Maybe you really are evil!

I don't work for Microsoft. I work *with* Microsoft and lately, get this, Google *gasp*

If you forget, when the Droid commercials were out, iPhone still couldn't multi-task. How sad. There's still tons the iPhone can't do that a Droid can that the average consumer would want right out of the box, customization is one. I don't want to keep going and going and going.

It's not like you can't customize an iPhone at all. You can change the lock screen and background wallpaper, you can move icons around and create folders. For most people that I know, the beginning and end of their phone customization experience involves sticking some photo of someone cute as their wallpaper and changing their ringtone.

I know what you are saying - you can customize Android a lot more - but you are making it more black and white than it really is. It's not like people can't do anything to customize an iPhone. I tend to think that the average consumer is happy enough with either of the two OS's - and the sales numbers for both tend to agree.

Another thing to consider about the customizations being black and white, why is it that everyone thinks that's the only feature a user wants?

If a user has cusomization high on the list, they get an android.

If a user wants finesse and polish, like myself, they get an iPhone.

That pretty much describes anything from Apple. One-black-turtleneck-fits-all... If we don't make it, you don't need it - and you're silly for asking for it in the first place.

as much as I like picking on them, its not just teh Apple guys. I really hate people that to force the views on others. I love a good debate, hate it when someone tries to shove something down my throat. Being in sales...I have to try very hard not to do that to others myself.
