I mean, it took the Republicans in 3 southern states almost 24 hours to pass their first round of voter restriction laws targeted at minorities after the Supreme Court re-wrote the Voting Rights Act. As they knew well in advance the outcome, given the Court taking up the ridiculous case in the first place.
The supreme court of course expanding their role as the unchecked head of both the Legislative and Executive branches (who formerly were responsible for passing and implementing such changes in the law).
