My friend has this party every year and I went two years ago and all that happend was that we hung out in his back yard and his band played and I hung out with his other family memebers and my friends and then we went to sleep. The next morning we got in the truck and went home.
You all think that I am going to participate in a gang bang and ****** their brains out, but thats not the case, and never will be.

I wouldn't let my girlfriend do that...mostly because I don't like parties (lots of crap happens, plus its just stupid)...and I'm never quite sure what she's doing at night, because she used to go to parties and all that...

Just tell her you don't want her to go, but not because you don't trust her. I trust my gf, but I don't want her going to parties...lots of bad stuff can happen...yep.

From what your GF wrote, it seems that the party will be a pleasant, family and friends-of-the-family event.

I don't see why your presence would be make things weird/uncomfortable. Which means:

a. There is something incredibly offputting about you (Tourette's? Humpback? BO?)
b. The friends/family/party attendees have certain biases about some characteristic which you possess (you = African American, they = KKK?)
c. The friends/family/party attendees are murderers/cannibals/ninjas and she loves you too much to watch you be murdered/eaten/sliced open.
d. She is lying
