they're old friends of hers, yeah. but they sure as hell don't give a sh!t about you, and that's more than enough incentive for some slightly-intoxicated idiot to make it his mission to get her bent over by the end of the night. to be completely honest, i have more than a few 'old friends' that i wouldn't have a problem hooking up with, boyfriend or not, if we saw each other one night and the vibe was right. am i an ass? maybe. but sorry, unless you're engaged, or vows have been made - your girlfriend, let alone me, owes you anything at all. not a phone call to check in during the party, not an apology afterwards, NOTHING. you can flood the world with your tears all you like, after the fact, but you'll drown in misery alone.
OP: girls don't know how to compromise. if she insists, you lose. best you can hope for is a way to occupy yourself while you're waiting out those hellish hours. Oh, and try not to call her at 3 am in some last-ditch pride-out-the-window effort to check up on her. you'll piss off her and brandon.

seriously........seriously.....if you want to make sure she doesnt get drunk and bang some dude. Do the reasonable thing. Call th epolice around 10:30 pm and complain about a loud party. The party will be broken up before it gets started.

The point is she doesn't want you along, so like it our not she plans on engaging is something she doesn't want you to know about. Since there seems to be no ligitamate reason for you not to be there, she is showing you that she cannot be trusted. There is no way you will know if she tells you the truth when she get back. Just cut your losses and tell her to go. When she returns, end the relationship. You and this relationship cannot win.
