I'd say yes, given that the description says the Cosmic supports .45* calibers plus everything that the Mystic X can suppress.

That's a good find...I'll likely take something like that once I start getting into suppressors.

Yeah it looks like it does work with rifles and pistols after reading reviews on the previous Mystic X. Wow, sounds like a great piece.

Now I just gotta figure out what I need/want to attach it to the guns.

Damn it, got the 10/22 bug with the takedown I bought, found a used stripped receiver, Green Mtn bull barrel, Volsquartsen trigger, stock bolt, Hogue stock, and some other bits and pieces, will build up a tack driver, will have about $400 in it total, not bad compared to buying a 10/22 and replacing everything.

The used stock and barrel came together, will resell the Hogue stock and get a used thumb hole wood stock off eBay.

The takedown models like I bought are fun, but by their nature aren't as accurate as the traditional gun.

Depends on what 1911 you start with, I think. My Dan Wesson was a little north of $1k at the time (it's the CCO model - aluminum frame, commander/officer sized for carry) - can't really think of any way to change the gun to make it better. Amazing trigger, great fit work done on it and - knock on wood - zero FTFs/FTEs on it using either Speer JHP and generic FMJ.

+P .45 has a nice kick to it, but I only have it as hollow point defense ammo. I also intentionally bought a something A LOT closer to series 70 to make it easier to take down.

The problem is, they couldn't find the magazine for the Browning, I need to pick one up.

My father used to own one, they are fun to shoot. I still see the Browning still going for around $600 a pop, both the pistols are almost pristine.

I take it GUN broker.com is a pretty reputable site, had never looked for a replacement part online and this looks what I need.

I think. The more I look at it the more I'm not sure is an exact match, this model does have a slide stop and release. But I guess I could always return.

Yeah, I should have look at the site itself, looks solid.

I was looking at a few on E-Bay myself, but I do not even use PayPal anymore these days. Looks they take VISA too though, thanks.

You'd probably appreciate this one from the screen name, started looking at some of the old Browning Medalist target pistols.

Almost hurts to look at the last pic, someone let it go a bit.

All ready have a Thomson Contender .22LR target pistol myself, with a .223 barrel.

But that is just pretty sweet looking. Form and function artwork.

Beautiful, I'm too rough on things to buy something like that, I'm of the "guns are tools" mindset.

Don't need FFL to buy/transfer anything but what the BATF considers the regulated component of a firearm, typically the receiver, or a component with a serial number. State laws vary, but the Gunbroker vendors are usually aware of any state by state restrictions, the only one I can think of that might affect you is magazine capacity.

One thing that made me crazy were the news reports after the San Bernardino shootings were that unscrupulous websites were selling components for assault weapons, listing some well known and reputable firearms websites. They didn't think to look on Amazon or Wal Mart's websites.

I shot it a few times at the indoor range (25 yards), but the fun of driving tacks at 25 yards runs out at about the 10th bullet. Awesome gun that I loved, but no real use for me.

I'm a member of a sportsman's club with indoor and outdoor ranges, but the biggest outdoor range is only 100 yards. I guess that's the standard, at least for the few gun ranges I've been to, but man, it sure would be nice if places had a 200- or 300-yard range. It seems like my current one could as it owns a lot of land. Guess I'll need to bring it up at a members' meeting.

Anyway, good to hear that you liked the gun. They sure look awesome.

There have been a few rifles that I haven't purchased due to the range length. I was obsessed with the Ruger Precision rifle but haven't bought it yet because I'm not sure where I can shoot it at the range it excels at. I'm not big into driving out in the middle of no where and shooting as I like to know without any doubt what's out there. Even more so at 600+ yards.

I love living where I live where I don't have to worry about ranges. Just go into the national forest or the BLM areas and set up, and clean up your trash afterward.
